Great for heavy commutes to work or school, as well as for cycle touring. This pack will fit any standard rear rack (low rider racks will not work due to the saddle bag set up). Its 33 litre storage capacity and rugged 1,000 dennier nylon construction allows you to pack, worry free whatever you may need; whether it be large binders and heavy text books for work, or that extra pair of pants and large sweater for the weekend cycle trip. Similar to the Day PanPack, extra gear can easily be strapped to the top, with handy "D" rings and a bungy cord, which is included! Want to go on a hike with all of the gear that was strapped to the top of your bike rack? This is not a problem either simply keep the pack expanded and fasten the extra gear, (tent, bed roll..) between the 2 compartments, it's that simple! The commuter comes complete with padded shoulder straps, zippered flat pockets on the outside of each side compartment, fully opening double slider side zipper compartments with extra wide rain flaps, and bottom compartment compression strap.
