Letter from Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue, Silverdale, Washington, USA
Dear Brule Mountain Gear,
As the Bike Team Coordinator, I wanted to let You know that your bags are playing an important part of our emergency response team. Our team consists of eight professional firefighters specially trained in large event bike operations. We have covered 22 days of large events as of this year (2001). We have 69-recorded patient contacts including 2
air lifted critically ill patients. Other public events we are involved with include International Association of Fire Fighters Local 2819 safety calendar, several school presentations, Kitsap County Safe Kids Events.
We use two of your World Tour PanPack in different colors to carry our emergency equipment. We carry everything needed to render medical care to sick or injured patients during our large events, such as our annual Whaling Days parade and street fair, Endfest Concert featuring alternative rock bands and our annual Kitsap County Fair.
The bags have been outstanding. By using a quick release clip around the seat post, we can quickly remove the bags and take them into buildings that the bikes cannot gain access to. Once removed (or while still on the bike), we can gain quick access to all of the equipment. Thank you for all of the support you have given us. Enclosed are some photos of our bikes with your bags and some of the
trading cards we distribute to kids in our protection area. Rest assured that your bags are assisting us in saving lives when we conduct bike operations. Thanks again for your great product and service.
Bike Team Coordintor, Central Kitsap Fire and Rescue.
